While on duty during the annual Wines to Whales bicycle race, a gorgeous, sweaty cyclist walks in and sets her hormones dancing. But he is Don Cavallo; one of the four Cavallo brothers \u2014 hotel tycoons, famous as much for their business skills as for the number of beauties seen on their arms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Billionaire Don Cavallo has his own issues with the other sex. He has yet to find one who is interested in him, not his money or hotels. But when this sexy physio puts her hands on his back, she not only touches his body, but also his heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’ve both been burned before, but neither of them can stop themselves from playing with fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it was Don who stood there, hands in his pockets. The streetlights were bright enough for her to see him clearly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She dropped her hands from their halfway-up position. Oh hell, what had he heard? He came closer. She swallowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhere\u2019s your girlfriend?\u201d was the first thing that popped out of her mouth. Caitlin nearly groaned out load. She looked away and unlocked her car. \u201cSorry, none of my business,\u201d she mumbled and opened the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe\u2019s just a friend.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDid you enjoy your date?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He shook his head. \u201cI was watching you the whole night.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stunned, she swallowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd you? Did you have a nice time?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2026\u201d At a complete loss, she frantically tried to think of a word, any word. Nothing came to mind. She shook her head. He\u2019s been watching me all night?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stepped around so the car door was between them. Her hands were resting lightly on the door, her fingers tingling. She vividly remembered how it had felt to touch him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThought so.\u201d His smile was devastating. \u201cI\u2019d like to take you out, Caitlin.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs in a date?\u201d she asked, still stunned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, Caitlin, as in a date.\u201d He touched her cheek. \u201cThere is something here,\u201d he said, and then motioned with his hand between them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She didn\u2019t move, just stared at him. Was he really asking her out on a date?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what it is, but it\u2019s keeping me awake at night. Let\u2019s try a date and see how we like it. Friday around seven?\u201d he asked. \u201cI\u2019ll pick you up and we\u2019ll have dinner.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caitlin stared at him for another minute before she was sure she could string a few words together. \u201cDon, you\u2026me\u2026\u201d She shook her head and grimaced. \u201cWe live in two completely different worlds; we have nothing in common. You are\u2026you, the papers are full of your businesses. I\u2019m a physiotherapist from Hermanus. I don\u2019t think\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen don\u2019t. Think, that is.\u201d He smiled. \u201cYou do know that you can\u2019t believe everything you read in the papers. And I happen to like this physiotherapist from Hermanus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She looked at him a moment longer. This was so not what she should be doing. Hannah\u2019s warning and her own misgivings about him swirled around in her head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His gaze never left hers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was a big girl. And if she prepared herself for the worst, then surely she\u2019d be fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhere? I\u2019ll meet you\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ll pick you up,\u201d he said and lowered his head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t know where I live and I always drive myself,\u201d she managed just before his lips touched hers lightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
